I have always been passionate about guiding people on their healing journeys, helping them discover natural ways to improve their health and well-being. I believe that true healing comes from within, and I’m honored to walk alongside my clients as they seek a better quality of life through natural alternatives.
In 2010, I felt called to create Holistic Alternative Solutions (H.A.S.), a name that represents the holistic care I offer. Whether my clients choose to integrate traditional medicine or focus solely on natural remedies, my goal is to support them every step of the way. I work with a wonderful network of doctors, but I also respect and fully support those clients who prefer to take a different path.
My faith is central to everything I do. I live by it daily, and I believe in the incredible power of prayer. It’s not about religion—it’s about faith, belief, and walking in that truth every day. I trust that each person’s healing journey is unique, and I’m here to help them find the path that’s best for them.
I semi-retired as of January 2024.
I have no desire to quit altogether because I love what I do, but I am enjoying time to play with my chickens, my grandchildren and gardening.

Philosophy of Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic Medicine focuses on healing the whole person and supporting the body’s natural healing process. The practice is based on six principles:
1. The Healing Power of Nature – The body has an inherent self-healing process.
2. Identify and Treat the Cause – Remove underlying causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms.
3. First, Do No Harm – Use methods with minimal side effects and avoid symptom suppression.
4. Treat the Whole Person – Address all factors (genetic, environmental, emotional, etc.) that contribute to health.
5. The Physician as Teacher – Empower patients through education.
6. Prevention – Focus on disease prevention through assessment and risk management.
Naturology Safe?
Yes, naturopathic medicine has an excellent safety record. The use of non-toxic, natural medicines and non-invasive treatments minimizes risks, and DNs are trained to recognize contraindications with conventional medicine. Dr. Allen believes in a cooperative approach between naturopathy and conventional medicine to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
